Our World Mission Update: The Heights on Mission
The Heights Church shares in reaching the world with the Gospel every Sunday
through giving, going and serving. Jesus gave every church a clear inescapable
commission in Acts 1:7-8 The Risen Lord Jesus was responding the question
about when would the kingdom of Israel come. Jesus responded, “It is not for
you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But
you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be
my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the
earth.” Let’s unpack this: The future is in the heart and hands of our loving
Heavenly Father don’t get overwhelmed but stay aware of all that is happening it
points to the return of Jesus. How to spend our time: You will be given power or
ability to be a witness. No option; you will be a witness good or bad! Then Jesus
commissions all Christians to be involved in every place to all people.
